Well, we are now nearly at the end of our third working week, and the feeling is very optimistic! All our visitors have loved the facilities, and we have been busy registering lots of new patients. We have completed many ‘firsts’ - first anaesthetic, first dental, first surgical procedure, first X-ray and are very happy to report that everything seems to be working well and we have had some very happy patients walking out of the door. We have really noticed how calm the atmosphere is for patients recovering from anaesthesia - they may not be able to enjoy the gorgeous rural view that we do, but they are certainly benefitting from the tranquil setting as they get back on their feet.
We need to say a huge thank you to our wonderful nursing team Michelle and Zoë who have worked wonders with the chaos and got us all organised. We will be sad to see Zoë leave us to locum elsewhere next week, but happy to think she will return when Michelle takes holiday later in the year - thanks Zoë for all the hard work and for getting us up and running on Facebook!
We are looking forward to welcoming Lisa back to work with us from Tuesday onwards - the team will then be complete 🙂
